Hi, I’m Beth and I like jumping jacks and shuffle ball changes! I have been a “fitness-er” of some variation or another for a very, very long time. Fitness has allowed me to celebrate the highs and withstand the lows of my life.
I grew up in the area, and continue to live and work here. I currently live in Fort Ann with my husband, our son and our dogs. Family time is super important to me, and we try to have dinner together most nights. We stay active as a family with hiking, biking and camping; and I’ve never met a dog who loves fetch more than my Karma Bean.
I spend my free time with my family, at the dance studio, or watching Star Trek in its many iterations (classics never die).
Beside coaching, my current work is with developmentally delayed/disabled pre-schoolers. They are experts in chaos, and the most fun people I know.
Prior to that, I had a career in manufacturing quality control – observe a process, compare it to a standard, and identify faults and strategies for correction.
Fitness and training are just like that. We move in deliberate patterns, with a standard goal of performance. A coach observes the movement pattern, identifies faults, and provides strategies for correction.
I am here because I believe fitness is about so much more than how many push ups you can do. It is a powerful tool for self care and self actualization, for everyone and anyone. It’s a guide and a life line; something you can count on through whatever life hands you. It shows you that you are capable of taking on challenges, and coming out the other side better for it.
Movement is a blessing. We crawl, walk, run, jump, skip and dance, moving our consciousness through space and time. Fitness helps us experience this gift more fully, also jumping jacks are really fun.
