Bare Minimum Mondays
Week 106: July 27, 2026
Move
When you arrive somewhere, park one row farther away than you normally would. Those extra steps add up over time. And even something as simple as increasing daily step count is associated with lower risk of cardiovascular disease.
Eat
Choose water with one meal that would normally include a sugary drink. It won’t necessarily satisfy that craving, but a simple once daily swap, replacing sugar-sweetened beverages with water willl support metabolic and cardiovascular health.
Sleep
Spend the last 10 minutes before bed reading a physical book or magazine instead of scrolling your phone. We say this all the time because the data show it again and again: reducing evening screen exposure improves sleep onset and overall sleep quality.
Manage
Before your head hits the pillow, think of one person who made your day a little better. Gratitude practices improve psychological well-being and reduce symptoms of stress, not to mention that thinking of a specific person also helps build meaningful relationships.
