Bare Minimum Mondays
Move
Walk for five minutes when you have to take a phone call this week. Movement and conversation pair surprisingly well, and frequent movement breaks reduce the negative health effects of prolonged sitting.
Eat
Add a handful of nuts to a snack or meal. They’re one of the simplest nutrient-dense foods available. Regular nut consumption is associated with improved cardiovascular health and longevity.
Sleep
Keep your bedroom as dark as possible, even though the evenings stay bright longer. Darkness is a sleep signal. Light exposure during sleep tends to negatively affect sleep quality and circadian rhythms.
Manage
Write down one thing you’ve done well this summer so far. Momentum grows when we notice it, and positive self-reflection improves both well-being and resilience.
