Bare Minimum Mondays – 08/18/2025

Week 51: August 18, 2025

Move
Stand or walk during at least one phone call or meeting this week. Integrating movement into routine tasks like phone calls increases daily step count, reduces sedentary time, and is a super easy way to add activity without adding time.

Eat
Eat a rainbow-colored salad (with at least three colors) this week. Variety in fruit/vegetable color increases micronutrient intake and supports antioxidant status.

Sleep
Wind down with a simple printed book (not a screen) for 10 minutes before bed. In addition to being a good way to unplug, if this becomes a regular habit, it will begin to be a “sleep cue” that will help prime your body for rest.

Manage
Spend 5 minutes in quiet mindfulness, noticing breath or surroundings. Brief mindfulness breaks reduce stress and improve focus.
