Move
Do calf raises while making your coffee. Just like with brushing your teeth, there’s nothing magical about the coffee making that will improve your lower body strength; it’s about tying a movement practice to an existing habit. For most people, most of the time, more movement is generally better than less movement.
Eat
Opt for a whole grain option instead of refined grains. In general, whole grains tend to be higher in fiber which has massive health benefits that we’re just now starting to understand more fully. That doesn’t mean you have to ditch all refined grains, but whole grains is one easy way to get a little more fiber in your diet.
Sleep
Keep your bedroom slightly cool for better sleep. It seems to be the case that a cooler room temperature supports deeper and more restorative sleep. Read more HERE.
