Bare Minimum Mondays – 03/24/2025

Move
Stand on one leg while brushing your teeth. Silly? Maybe. But balance is incredibly important when it comes to things like stability and decreasing injury risk, and, like flexibility, is a trait that starts to slip as you age. This is an easy way to work on it without feeling like you’re working on it. Read more HERE.

Eat
Replace one sugary drink (soda, sports drink, sweetened coffee, etc.) with water, plain seltzer, or herbal tea. This is a super easy way to quickly decrease calorie consumption and sugar consumption.

Sleep
For this week, stick to a consistent wake-up time, even on weekends. There is a ton of data that suggests that maintaining a regular sleep schedule supports better overall sleep quality. Read more HERE.

Manage
Write down three things you’re grateful for. Journaling, especially gratitude journaling, is consistently shown to improve mood and reduce stress. This is an easy way to start that practice.
